Trade union action at North Sea Port: impact and updates

During the year-end period 2025/2026, a temporary exemption from inland port dues applies to vessels docking at designated quays within our port area. The exemption applies to arrivals and departures between Wednesday, 24 December 2025 from 3:00 p.m. and Monday, 5 January 2026 until 9:00 a.m.
Conditions
The exemption applies only if all of the following conditions are met:
- The vessel is docked at the public quay at Zijkanaal A East, Zijkanaal A Beurtvaartkade, Noorderkanaalhaven in Terneuzen, or Zijkanaal H East in Sas van Gent.
- The vessel’s arrival and departure both fall within the period from Wednesday, 24 December 2025 at 3:00 p.m. up to and including Monday, 5 January 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
- The vessel does not arrive from another berth within the ports of Terneuzen, Vlissingen, or Ghent.
- No transhipment takes place.
