A suspicious situation is any situation that looks unusual to you. Have you spotted a suspicious person on the quay or at an office? Have you noticed someone you do or don't know acting suspiciously? If you feel that something is not completely right, it often isn't! Report what you've seen - completely anonymously.

Honesty and respect are at the foundation of our work. If you notice something that is not right, please report it – safely and confidentially.

Environmental complaints (NL)

In the Zeeland region, you can report all environmental complaints and issues, for example noise nuisance or soil contamination, to the RUD Zeeland Environmental Reporting Point. This Environmental Reporting point can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on +31 118 41 23 23. For less urgent matters, you can also fill out a form.

The hotline can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the toll-free number 0800 92 999 (Belgium). If you call during office hours, you will be put through to the municipal environment department or environmental inspectorate. Outside office hours, your call will be forwarded to North Sea Port, Ghent port area. All calls will be answered. 

Whistleblower reports (NL)

Do you suspect malpractice or violations of the law? Both North Sea Port employees and external parties can report misconduct here (anonymously). There is a separate portal for this in the Netherlands.

As in the Netherlands, you can also report malpractice and abuse (anonymously) in Belgium. Due to differences in national legislation, there is also a separate portal for Belgium.

Public lighting malfunctions Zeeland

North Sea Port participates in a Dutch cooperative partnership for the maintenance and management of the public lighting in Zeeland. Malfunctions of the public lighting system in the port area in the Netherlands can be reported to the following address.
