We get you moving. Here’s how.

Connecting sustainably and smoothly – that’s our compass. We take the lead in shifting to rail and inland shipping, offering a range of efficient transport options to and from the hinterland.

  • Shortsea makes up an impressive 70% of maritime traffic in our port – connecting us sustainably to the UK, Nordics, the Baltics, the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, Turkey and North Africa.

  • Deepsea shipping drives our global connectivity. Massive volumes flow in and out by sea, and get processed right at our quays.

  • No one sails like we do. Inland shipping takes the lead at North Sea Port, making up nearly 60% of transport. Regular services let us bundle cargo smartly. Sustainable, efficient and free from traffic – tonnes moved, CO₂ reduced.

  • We’re on track with rail! It now accounts for nearly 10% of our modal split, with over 300 trains leaving our port every week. Meanwhile, we’re actively working on new rail projects – in close cooperation with our partners.

  • With over 30%, road transport keeps a firm place in our logistics. We boost electrification, autonomous transport and alternative fuels – all while charting a course toward a greener transport mix of rail and inland shipping.

  • Pipelines move 15 to 16 million tonnes each year, mostly liquids. We’re charting new options to make logistics and industry – in and beyond the port – more sustainable for the future.
