From whom do we collect personal data? 

This privacy statement applies to any person using Berth Planner. Within Berth Planner, this person is referred to as User or Administrator as appropriate.

Legal Basis 

Contract. Without this personal data, unique login cannot be granted to the User, and the User cannot perform actions within Berth Planner. 

Legal obligation. Based on the exercise of port administrative powers under the port decree (determination and collection of port dues within the port area is the responsibility of North Sea Port). 

Which personal is processed? 

  • User's Name,
  • Work Address,
  • Work Phone,
  • Work Email,
  • Job Title,
  • Account ID (username and password) 

How did we come by this data? 

The data processed by North Sea Port is received directly from the User or the Administrator acting on behalf of the Subscriber (i.e., the company wishing to use Berth Planner). 

How long will we retain such data? 

Account: Your personal data is retained as long as you perform actions for the Subscriber. When a User is deleted by the Subscriber, the data is no longer retained by North Sea Port. 

Reservations: Reservations with accompanying information are retained for 5 years to grant any financial discounts and to report on reservation trends. 

With whom (third party) will we share this data? 

Your personal data is only transferred to processors providing IT support to North Sea Port. In such cases, a valid processing agreement is always concluded. 

How are personal data secured? 

At North Sea Port, personal data is protected in accordance with all applicable legal provisions. We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access and other unwanted actions with personal data. When you provide personal data to North Sea Port, they are processed in a secure environment that is not accessible to the public. 

Transfer of personal data 

No personal data are transfered to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

You can exercise your rights as a data subject by, among other things, contacting North Sea Port by e-mail (see contact details). Below you will find an overview of the various rights linked to the legal basis on which personal data are processed.
