From whom do we collect personal data? 

This privacy statement applies to users of the RAV platform who create an account on the North Sea Port Portal so that they can register for certain applications.

  • By checking the appropriate box, the user consents to this processing.
  • The necessity to pursue the general interest of North Sea Port, specifically the smooth and efficient operation of the port (activities) in general, as well as for safety reasons and safe port operations. 

Purposes 

  • Managing the user's access to the applications for which they are registered
  • To contact North Sea Port and the administrator of the applications to which the user has access
  • To keep the user informed of changes to the applications for which they are registered, as well as new applications or changes to the North Sea Port portal that may be relevant to the user
  • To allow the user to identify the primary user of the company to which they belong 

What personal data is processed? 

Simple personal data of the user themselves: 

  • Name
  • Work address
  • Work telephone
  • Work email address 

How do we obtain this data? 

North Sea Port receives the data it processes directly from you as a user. 

How long do we retain this data? 

Your personal data is retained for a period of 5 years. 

With whom do we share this data? 

Your personal data may be shared with application administrators of the applications to which the user has access, the application administrator, and the primary user of the company you work for. 

Transfer of personal data 

No personal data is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). 

How are personal data secured? 

At North Sea Port, personal data is protected in accordance with all applicable legal provisions. We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access and other unwanted actions with personal data. When you provide personal data to North Sea Port, they are processed in a secure environment that is not accessible to the public.
