Legal basis
North Sea Port processes personal data as part of a legal obligation. There is a mandatory registration requirement for drone flights. See also the Regulation on the zoning of unmanned aircraft.
Purposes
For safety reasons in the port area and in response to questions that North Sea Port may receive from other port attendees, please also inform North Sea Port about the planned flight.
What personal data is processed?
- Company name;
- Name;
- Email;
- Phone number;
- Drone registration number;
- ROC/flight permit number;
- Date and time of flight;
- Location of the drone flight;
- Reason for the drone flight and client (if applicable);
- Flight route (optional with image).
How do we obtain this data?
We only obtain personal data that you provide to us to register a drone flight.
How long do we retain this data?
The personal data is retained for 6 months.
With whom do we share this data?
Form submission is handled through Drupal. The data entered is sent via Drupal to the relevant mailboxes within North Sea Port.
As part of enhancing risk-based supervision, the reports are shared with the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT).
Transfer of personal data
No personal data is provided to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
